One Response to About Scott Hudson

  1. Dear Scott,
Tried to respond to your April 2011 complaint about the lawsuit and the related racism – but was not able to comment on that page.

fyi – I am a former investigative reporter (1975-1988) in Augusta and was trained by the premier investigative reporter Jay Mann of WJBF TV-6.

Respecting the obvious fact that you are very right wing (because I presume you really understand Augusta politics), I won’t take your post apart sentence by sentence.

You asked where is the racism when the white power structure barrels forward – and often do so with the help of some of the black commissioners (well known lapdogs) who in turn get their perks and petted on the head by those holding the purse strings.

Augusta’s White Power Structure (Business and Political) gets its way – most of the time – and you know this.
Your Boss Billy is a member of this clam.

You also stated that those with “good conscience” have “worked for years to eradicate racism” in Augusta.

The longstanding victims of that racism have seen little or no change – other than lip service that never amounts to anything.

If you truly do not understand the White Power Structure and the ongoing serious racism – do an internet search for an interview with Civil Rights expert Dr. Mallory Millender – who does a thorough job explaining the insidious entrenched racism in Augusta.

Dr. Millender has been part of a committee on racism that is stalled because some members do not have the guts to take a strong stance.

That interview was done by investigative journalist Tom Grant on DividedCity.us.

Civil rights leader Rev. Terence Dicks has the interview posted on his Facebook page and youtube (ClaimStreetNamedKing).

Until the whites in Augusta admit that racism is still a very serious problem for the former slave port town – and are willing to make great strides – the racism will continue to be passed from generation to generation.

To deny this – is to be part of the racism problem – that will continue unabated in Augusta.

Sadly I can see you and your brethren Austin just laughing about the problem.

    Hope I am wrong.

Praying you will open your heart – and admit racism is as bad as ever – and then become a leader in an effort to change the “Good Old Boy” network that controls much of Augusta..
